Mais um detalhe... Another detail...

Já aqui disse que gosto de fotografar coisas diferentes... peculiares! Aqui fica mais uma... O "objecto" da fotografia não é nada de especial... mas gostei do resultado... (e sei que há por aí mais gente a concordar comigo...)

I've already said in here that I like taking pictures to different, peculiar things. Here it is another one... The "object" of this picture is nothing special... but I enjoyed the final result... (and I know that somewhere there are more people agreeing with me...)

Big Ben

Já que estou a "mostrar" os monumentos de Londres... achei que parecia mal não pôr aqui uma fotografia (ou duas) do tão famoso Big Ben...

Once I'm "showing" you London's monuments... I thought it wouldn't be nice not to include a picture (or two) of the well known Big Ben

Covent Garden

Não é preciso dizer mais nada... as fotografias falam por si...

I don't think I need to say anything else... the pictures speak by themselves...

London Eye

A London Eye é, sem dúvida, um dos ex libris da cidade... e é local de visita obrigatório, uma vez que numa viagem que dura 30 minutos é possível ter uma vista única sobre a cidade e os seus pontos principais. Não é propriamente uma visita barata... mas vale a pena (sobretudo se estiver sol)!
A primeira fotografia foi tirada do St. James' Park (em frente ao palácio de Buckingham); a segunda enquanto estava na fila à espera que chegasse a minha vez; e a terceira do outro lado do rio (perto da estação de metro Embankment).

London Eye is, undoubtedly, one of the city's ex libris... and it must be visited, for in a 30 minutes trip you can have a unique view over the city and its well known monuments. It isn't cheap... but it is worth the money (especially in a sunny day)!
The first picture was taken in St. James' Park (in front of Buckingham's Palace); the second one while I was in the queue waiting for my turn; and the third one from the other bank of river Thames (near Enbankment's Underground station).

Após algum tempo de ausência e depois de alguns posts em que optei por falar sobre outros assuntos... estou de volta às fotografias da minha curta, mas fantástica viagem a Londres...
Aqui está uma fotografia que me parece interessante... Desde o momento em que cheguei à capital inglesa que reparei nas placas com os nomes das ruas, mas em Chinatown não consegui resistir a tirar-lhes uma fotografia...

After a period of absence and after some posts in which I decided to talk about other subjects... I'm back to the pictures I took during my short, but amazing, trip to London...
Here it is an interesting picture... I noticed the street's names plates from the moment I arrived in London, but in Chinatown I couldn't resist taking a picture...

Leicester Square

E aqui estou eu de volta às minhas fotografias... finalmente desvendando o meu "destino secreto": Londres...
Já tenho saudades de ouvir aquela voz simpática a dizer "This is a Piccadilly line service to Cockfosters" ou então "The next station is... South Kennsington" ou ainda "Please mind the gap between the train and the platform"...

Here I am... back to my photos... and finally revealing you my "secret destiny": London...

Pois é... estive ausente durante uns tempos, mas foi por uma boa causa: tirar novas fotografias para postar... =)
Quanto ao local para onde fui... ainda não o vou desvendar já... deixo apenas esta fotografia e a certeza de que estive na cidade, por excelência, da dança e do ballet...
Alguém tem alguma ideia?
