Com as férias cada vez mais perto, achei que fazer uma caminhada de, aproximadamente, 15 kms seria uma boa maneira de testar a minha resistência...
O dia começou cedo... e o caminho, esse, começou a subir... a subir... e a subir...
As my holidays are close, a trekking of about 15kms seemed to be a good way to test myself... the day started early... and the path, well, taht one started by going up... and up... and up...
É óbvio que, pelo meio, se fizeram algumas pausas para reabastecer, descansar um pouco e ganhar forças para chegar ao ponto de paragem seguinte... aquele que se vê ali ao fundo!!!
Obviously there were some "pit stops" to rest a little and get the strengths needed to get to the next stop... that one over there... on the top of the hill!!!
Pelo caminho... tivemos a agradável (ou não) visita de um amigável grupo de cabras... ("hmmm... será que já é hora de almoço? alguém trouxe uma faca? um fogão?")
During our way... we had the pleasant (or not) visit of a group of goats... "yummy... is it lunch time already? has anyone got a knife? a stove?")
Mas antes da grande subida... havia ainda tempo para uma pequena descida, muito agradável, por sinal, e que culminou com um saltinho sobre um pequeno riacho...
But before going up... there was still time to go a little bit down and to jump over a small river...
Já muito cansados, chegámos ao topo do monte... onde vimos, pela primeira vez, o sítio onde nos poderíamos sentar para descansar para comer! (e não é que havia mesmo uma espécie de fogão?) Mas para lá chegar... ainda era preciso descer...
We were completely exhausted when we got to the top of the hill and saw, for the first time, the place where we would be able to sit down to relax and eat! (and... do you know what? there was really some kind of a stove there!!!) But in order to get there... we needed to go down...
A partir daqui foi (quase) sempre a descer... até que chegámos ao fim! Mas ainda houve tempo para que alguns se aventurassem a um banho gelado nas lagoas...
From then on... the path was (almost) always going down... untill we got to the end of it! But there was still some time for some people to go and have a frozen bath in the small lakes...Foi um passeio lindo, mas muito cansativo... mas só na altura, porque no dia seguinte estava já pronta para outro! Quando é a próxima caminhada, gente?
It was a beautiful walk, but very exhausting as well... but only at the time, for in the following day I was already ready for another one! When is the next trekking, guys?
